Idealistic idiots like you are the reason why this country is going downhill. Engineers ARE thinkers. They are problem solvers. It's not as if they are give a bunch of equations and asked to solve for x. There is critical thinking involved. Liberal arts majors don't have to think on the level that engineers do- anyone can read a textbook and memorize information. Ohh they're philosophers, they're dreamers. Idiot like you have this perception that engineers are robots. Why don't engineers go to civil rights demonstrations? Maybe it's because they have jobs. I'm tired of you dumbass idealistic liberal arts majors thinking that your changing the world. "Oh all engineers do is plug and chug equations." Yeah it's not like we think for ourselves or anything. Liberal arts majors are so simple that people should be given those degrees out of high school.

The bar code, a tracking device and an ownership device. Since money costs twice as much to make and disperse government is loosing, sickness passed by handling money, (flue, etc.) drives insurance up, and the crime associated with money. A Cashless society, (with no money) the government knows what you make, how you spend, and what you own. You can not steal from someone, you can not sell something that don't belong to you, you can not buy drugs, (all red flags to the government). You can not cheat, ( especially on taxes ), and when you go cashless, the government has you come forward on anything you want credit for, hidden cash in a safe, lock box, over seas account, (any antiques, artwork, furniture and belongings need to be bar coded or you can not sell them). When this comes into play, the government can match this to your past IRS papers and catch anyone who has cheated or grew to fast, and we all know what can happen then. The government could even catch politicians who cheat. Crime would drop, Terrorists would cease, no more illegal drugs, ( marijuana now starting to become legal for tax dollars), When governments know whats going on in the world their more likely to help in matters to protect people. Besides your unemployment and social security is already automatically in your account, some companies also put your paycheck automatically in your account, some stores just run your blank check through for your purchase and hand it back to you because it automatically comes out of your account, ( Hope you have money in your account, it does not take days to hit your account, it's automatic), less people writing checks and more people use debit cards instead of credit cards. It's less likely to be robbed when you have no cash on you and their's a limit on cash right now you can get. Gold and silver got us out of the depression in the 30's but not this time. Sure precious metals will always hold value due to technology, we need it for phones, computers, converters for cars, etc. etc., but when money goes, it becomes counterfeit, you can not use it for spending or purchase. BUT barter will always be around.

Money cannot work in the society we are entering. Technology is making money obsolete as I type this and it will fail. The period between money failing and a new society forming however is a different story. I predict wars between countries to control the population that will be met by resistance and bloodshed. It sounds horrible but I believe the social elites won't give up without a fight to keep their leashes around our necks. This sort of stuff has already begun in places like Greece and Italy. Its only a matter of time.

1) Most engineers only know how to solve subscribed problems using given formulas. If that's innovation and creativity, I must have a poor understanding of these terms or you have a very narrow definition of innovation and creativity. 2) I would also wager that engineers are, by far, less skilled thinkers than many other majors, particularly compared to the liberal arts. I am of course not suggesting that engineers are unintelligent-- rather that their skills are very, very particular and so by necessity, very limited. If you ask me, that sounds like a terrible quality for MORE than necessary of a society's population to have. That is, unless one desires to control the said population (how many engineers do you know that participate in civil rights demonstrations, or even VOTE in the U.S.?). Then, yes, allow them to think in and be concerned with only numbers and formulas.

Money, profit-based economies will become obsolete. The only things that will slow that eventuality is problems when one country want to and another doesn't. This will take global cooperation unprecedented in the history of human civilization. The elites will fight hard. It may bet bloody, but the will of the people will eventually win in the end. Thanks to the invention of the internet more and more people are becoming globally connected making it harder for the elite to control the masses. I really see no reason to believe that we will achieve this utopia like Star Trek. It not a matter of believe. Its only a matter of time.

We got a look at the Air Jordan 12 Obsidian 2012 Retro a few months ago. The upper is a mixture of Obsidian/White, and will be equipped with tumbled leather. Besides the different shade from the inner liner and back heel tab, the 2012 retro is almost unchanged from the OG version. No word on a release date yet, but stay tuned to TSG for the latest info and images.

The reality of engineering in the U.S. is that it has an image of being for students from middles class families who are B students in math and science. Young people from the upper middle class who are A students in math an science become MDs; this is of course because becoming an MD comes with a guaranteed high income, which is the only thing that really matters in this country.
